I am very excited to be joining the Northwest staff this year! I have been a parent in this school for over a decade. I am passionate about many things in my life, but the main things are family, gardening and special education. I believe all students can learn and grow and I enjoy getting to know the dynamics of each of my students personalities while we go on a journey of self-discovery together. It is my goal for each student to reach a level of independence that they are comfortable with while learning to self-advocate for themselves. I am the current AAD and mild/moderate CDC teacher here at Northwest and work closely with my students as they get ready to transition into adulthood. I hail from Louisiana and my husband and I have 3 sons. Our house is full with 2 dogs, 3 cats and several assorted fish. You can find us most weekends just hanging out around the house and enjoying the silence now that we only have one son still living at home. We love good food and better friends.
