Hello welcome to my faculty profile. My name is Donald Messer. I am originally from a very small town in East Tennessee outside of the Gatlinburg area. I graduated high school at Cosby High and decided to continue my education at a small private institution named Tusculum College, now a University. I graduated with a Bachelors in History in 2015 and decided to further pursue education by attending Graduate school at Tusculum University. I graduated with a Masters in Teaching in 2019. I currently am in a Doctoral Program for Educational Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. This will be my 5th full year of teaching and I am ecstatic to be in Clarksville continuing my career at Northwest High School.

My classroom expectations are simple. Firstly I expect students to come prepared to perform to the best of their ability every day. Secondly I expect students to listen to instruction to gain a further understanding of the content. Lastly I expect students to help conduct a positive classroom environment for everyone and continue to transition this positivity outside of the classroom.
