Hello! I am so excited to be at Northwest for the upcoming year. I am originally from East Tennessee, but have lived in Alabama and California for the past few years for my husband's job. I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Go Vols! Before I was a teacher, I worked in the Senate and in finance. I have a daughter, Poppy, and a dog, Beau. When I'm not teaching history, I love being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.
