As a Northwest graduate I am very excited about returning to share my 30+ years of clinical and teaching experience to the Green and Gold. I hold a B.S. in Biology & Chemistry and a B.S. in Nuclear Medicine from Vanderbilt UMC. Additional certifications include CNMT, (MR) ARRT, and a member of ASRT. This clinical and teaching background is essential to our Health Science students; Intently following my instruction will aid in completion of industry certifications. During summers and breaks you will find me back in the clinic, so I not only instruct, but I live in the healthcare industry too. This makes a student’s Health Science CTE certification uniquely different. Since I have been teaching the Clinical Certified Medical Assisting program I have had 100 percent pass rate! I am married with three grown children and 4 grandchildren, and I am also married to a NWHS grad! I have a beagle named Hank and a horse named Rosie. We try to do competitive jumping. Go Vikings!
