Northwest High School will be closed Monday, Aug. 23 and Tuesday, Aug. 24 for students.

Due to the storms on Saturday, Aug. 21, Northwest High School experienced significant flooding in the basement that has damaged electrical systems. CMCSS and CDE crews are actively addressing the situation, but our school will not be operational for classes on Monday or Tuesday due to the significant damage.

 Northwest High School will be closed Monday, Aug. 23 and Tuesday, Aug. 24 for all students. At this time, we expect to be able to resume classes on Wednesday, Aug. 25. I will continue to keep families updated as we receive more information.
