CMCSS Traditional Model Safety and Health Overview
In the traditional model, students are physically present in their zoned schools. While the traditional model will provide some normalcy during the pandemic, there will be several district-wide and school-specific precautions and modifications in place to mitigate, not eliminate, risk of COVID-19.

District Offices Reopening
District and school offices are closed to the public on Friday, Aug. 28. Central Services Gracey is open to the public by appointment only Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Corona Virus Update in CMCSS
Over the past few weeks, a Communicable Disease Team (CDT) comprised of leaders from CMCSS and the Montgomery County Health Department have been meeting regularly to review the latest guidance from the CDC, monitor the health and attendance of CMCSS students and employees, and make recommendations to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
Band Competition
Today Viking Band performed at the Middle Tennessee Concert Performance Assessment where they were scored on their performance of 2 pieces.We are so proud to say that our Viking Band scored straight superior ratings qualifying them for the TMEA State Festival later this spring!
Drill Team
The JROTC Drill team competed in the Red River Brigade Drill Meet over the weekend. They finished 1st place in the LET 1 Armed Squad, LET 1 Color Guard, Unarmed Platoon, Unarmed Drill Inspection, and the Armed Drill Inspection. Wrestling Tournament
The wrestling team hosted their Viking Invitational Tournament this past weekend and this was a huge success. Choir Recognition
This past Monday and Tuesday, our very own Logan Stewart (Senior, Bass 2 in Mainstream Choir) participated in the Middle Tennessee Vocal Association Choir rehearsals in Brentwood Tennessee.
